ABOUT CFTSS

WE'RE HERE TO HELP YOU

CFTSS offers services and support to children with mental health needs and their families in their home and community. CFTSS provides a system of care that accounts for the strengths, preferences, and needs of the individual, as well as the desired outcome. The array of services help children remain in their community and avoid higher levels of care and out-of-home placements.

services covered by NYS Medicaid. CFTSS help children and youth with mental health and
substance use needs. CFTSS work with each child/youth to provide care in a way that works
best for them and their families.
CFTSS are part of Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) services.
